Photon Lord is here and he's top tier! Alright, here is my rant about the deck.

I hate 3 expedition because you only have 3 lvl 8 targets in the deck and expedition is more likely to be unusable/redundant (plus it has a once per turn effect ).

Despite this, it's needed at 3 copies right now just because the deck is heavily graveyard reliant and this card can out certain things, like infernoid banish from grave or sanapond in mirror match ( or in DDD I guess ).

Expedition also gives a 3k bonus in damage at the end of the combo and you get more lethals in, which is nice. It also debricks more because you can pair expedition with wizard and reborns, instead of just reborns ( I'm looking at knight ).

Why 2 zero? Simple, if you somehow open 2 zero and make lord, then in turn 3 you will use your second zero to OTK and you won't draw into a third unusable/redundant one. If you open only 1 zero, then you can search or not search the second. If you dont search it and you top deck it like a true duelist, then it will work at full capacity ( since it has a once per turn effect as well as expedition).

The rest of the core is pretty intuitive.

Wizard is the heart and soul of the deck right now, since we don't have the rest of the support to work with. He adds zero, adds galaxy cyclone, can even add knight. You name it. He's at 3. Shuffle reborn is at 3 because it can debrick you turn 1 ( return 1 card to add another ) and can be used multiple times in one turn. It's replacement for future support. (copium)

Now let's move on to the techs.

2 mst 2 lance 1 chalice. Kinda weird, right?

Well, I figured I need outs for secrets or infernoids ( mst ) and then protection for books ( gouki or mekks ). Chalice is kinda good for every MU ( maybe not so much vs mekks but it can work ). These are interchangeable anyway, I even played 3 mst 2 book, 3 lance 2 book 1 cyclone, 2 lance 2 mst 1 dark hole, etc.

Book is pretty bad vs goukis (and links in general) because they can end up on master ogre with 2 other monsters and you still get negated. And btw, you can't book links, if you didn't know that already.

Note: If you want to play 6 techs in total you will have more overall power and outs to meta decks at the expense of more possible bricks.

The extra deck is standard. Sanapond is just for mirror match really. Link disciple for iblee.
