Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Book of Moon is everywhere. If you get hit by 1 Book you pretty much lose 3 cards: you won't be able to use either Kiteroid or Sword Sting, also your booked monster will probably die. So to survive in this environment I played more backrow hate, one less Sword Sting and replaced Kiteroids and Oyam with Wightprincesses. In late season your opponents will likely have cheaper decks so you can return to a more traditional build.

The main wincon is overpowering your opponent with repeated Kama 1 and Sword Stings. After that it comes down to Utopia Ray, and then Malevolent Sin. The remaining guys like Roach are there for specific matchups, except for Rebellion who is just a big bad beater. It can be replaced with anything like Corebage or Maestroke (decent if you go first vs heroes).

Santa is very useful versus top tier decks: It's this build's only realistic out for a Turn 1 Yazi, and gets rid of other problem cards such as Alkahest, Beatrice, Genghis, Magnus, Photon Lord, Wisel, etc. Also it forces BAs to Farfa the Santa. Your opponent will draw 1 ONLY if it is still face-up in End Phase of the turn it was Summoned so keep that in mind.

You can still attempt to bait negates with Wightprincess or Izna's discard effect. Sometimes they will be forced to negate them anyway.

The meta is definitely the harshest it has ever been to Yosenjus and now I'm even autolosing non meta matchups like Nekroz and War Rocks.
