WCS 2021 Cancelled
Due to the currently outbreak that our world is facing is right now, Konami has made an announcement about the Cancelation of the World Championship 2021, here’s the information:
Due to the recent outbreak, Konami has officially announced that the World Championship 2021, which was scheduled for August is now cancelled. More information, further updates and notifications for the WCS 2021 will be posted by Konami in the future.
With the World Championship cancelled, Konami is planning to hold a large-scale online PvP event, “KC Grand Tournament”, consisting of a Preliminary Tournament and a Main Tournament, and lasting from May to August.
In addition, with the cancellation of the “Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship,” the following “World Championship Finals Invitation” and “World Championship Regional Qualifiers Invitation” earned from KC Cups are now changed to “KC GT 2021 Main Tournament Championship Invitation” and “KC GT 2021 Preliminary Tournament Qualifiers Invitation” respectively.
